I am part of The Next Chapter collective of counsellors

I am a qualified and experienced counsellor and registered member of the BACP (British Association of Counsellors & Psychotherapists).  My postgraduate diploma in counselling was completed at The University of Edinburgh and combined approaches from psychodynamic and person centred counselling.  I have worked in a variety of settings including providing counselling for NHS staff at NHS Lothian and providing student counselling at Edinburgh College. I now work solely in private practice.

I work with adults aged 18 and over and am experienced in both short-term counselling and longer term psychotherapy. I also have a special interest in infertility and miscarriage. I undertake regular further training on a wide range of topics as well as attending supervision and personal therapy.

In the past I have worked in a variety of management positions in both the public and private sector. I also worked in a fertility clinic in Edinburgh for many years before commencing counselling training. I have a masters degree in healthcare leadership and postgraduate training in fertility.
